Pancreatic Cancer Symptoms and Signs

This is why pancreatic cancer is so deadly!


Jaundice


Is a condition that causes the whites of the eyes to turn yellow and the skin Appears to have a yellowish appearance?  If you have this symptom it does not mean you have pancreatic cancer.  There are a lot of medical problems and diseases that cause jaundice.  If you have this symptom you should see your doctor.


Pain


As the cancer grows and spreads, pain often develops in the upper abdomen and often spreads to the back. The pain may become worse after the person eats or lies down.  This symptom is often mistaken for gas in the earlier stages.


 Nausea


If you have nausea along with jaundice and pain in your upper abdomen and the pain has increased over a period of time.  You should see your doctor right away.  The longer you have pancreatic cancer the less chances you have for survival.


 Loss of Appetite


Having trouble eating food or keeping food down if this persists you should see your doctor.  Specially if you have jaundice, pain in your upper abdomen and nausea with a loss of appetite with weight loss.


Weakness


Having trouble eating food or keeping food down if this persists you should see your doctor.  Specially if you have jaundice, pain in your upper abdomen and nausea with a loss of appetite with weight loss. If you have these symptoms along with weakness you should see your doctor.  These symptoms may be caused by cancer or by other, less serious problems.
